Its crazy the ideas some people have

Rather than repair the 16V motor, fit a Stilo 1.8L Engine!

16V parts are still easy to find and buy.

They might be easy to find, but they ain't cheap! Sixteen bent valves implies a crank regrind, hardening, and new big end and main bearings - plus the usual fistful of belts, pumps and so on.
