I have done some searches but nothing has returned.
Does anyone offer a quickshift for the 20vt? I had one on my old 306 GTi6 and found it fantastic- not really doing any harm to the synchromesh either.
I find the Coupe gearing to be very long and i have started to do trackdays and would imagine a shortshift would be a great help as well as offering a slick gear change for normal road driving.

thanks

Edit: spelling!

The 16vt is the same as the early 20vt one.

I can thoroughly recommend these. I have an original Torque Italia one (thanks Ross \:\) ) and it really makes a difference.

I have a modified early shift courtesy of Taffy20vt, it makes a big difference, he cut and welded mine and it came back as clean as if it were new If you have one you can spare for a few days, PM him ;\)

Ross i know its crazy talk but if i bought a quick-shift would it tighten up my comically slack gear stick?

Or would it be just less of a stir before finding the gears \:D

I think I got a good price since I bought Taffy's 3 bar FPR also, drop him a PM. Also figure in the cost of a new rubber boot (around £8-9 IIRC) around the mechanism on top of the gearbox, mine was split before I started, I also bought a replacement clip to hold the cable on but it didn't fit, used a small split pin instead.

Dont think so. Mines isnt comical yet, but there is a fair bit of movement in there. I think its the linkages that need new bushes or something. Mattb seems to know IIRC..
