Last night and just now, the alarm randomly goes off!!

No idea why - any ideas??

Can a dying battery in one of the fobs be a possible reason?

Not in the fob no. You'll just find you cant switch off the alarm one day when u want to get in your car. Then u look like a criminal cuase u have to dive into the glove box to switch off the alarm manually.

Could be water getting into the alarm electrics?

Ah right, my wifes fob didnt seem to work when i tried it, mine does tho.

Mental note to self, find out how to turn off alarm manually.

you can either rip that POS out from under the wing on the left, or in the glove box just turn it off.

thing with my alarm is i had the battery taken off for a long period of time and when i connected the battery up again i cant turn it off...tried reprogramming the fobs but nope!. i just turned it off until i can think of an alternative.......still no remote lockin though
