Hi All

Not been on here in a while nor have i posted so howdy all.
I'm currently rebuilding my 20vt aiming for 500bhp.
The bottom end is coming together nicely, however im stuck with the balance shaft.

Post's on here say people have had issues? my plan was to fit the balance shaft but not connect the chain from the pump?

How have others done it? if anyone has with any success? or am i better keeping the shaft in use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The normal method is to remove the balance shaft and leave the chain drive connected on the oil pump.
