Does anybody know if there is a unit which combines these? presume if they did it would be a flip out unit?

yes there are plenty and they cost a fortune. IMHO it is better to by a stand alone sat nav.

For example Sony do this Sat nav HU but the sat nav module costs another 1000 quid

The ones with flip out screens require some fitting modifications so that the screen does not foul the centre console.

Alot of the combined units are not as upgradable as stand alone units and you cannot take them from car to car easily.

Even the latest budget units from TomTom, Garmin and Navman offer more functions and features than many combined sat nav HUs.

this was one of the best, but soon to be replaced. great if you have 1200-1500 pounds spare. for that you could do a fantastic carputer system

hia mottles, every company makes one and you can get them now if you look around for as little as £300 rite up to £20,000, the voice activated alpine are the best by far, but if you look and i mean look on ebay you can get a propper bargin, with touch screen ,dvd,cd ,mp3, rear screens etc i fitted an all in one unit for a guy in the parts dep at fiat, he got the unit off ebay from hong kong top speck all singing and dancing he paid £175 araived 6 days and still perfect 3 months on, take your time and investigate there are bargins out there,
