I have been offed a job with an airline where there will be a years training in Spain, I am wondering what to do with the car. Only bought it in Oct...
The spanish authorities will only give 6 months before I have to reg it with a spanish reg, however it will never pass the spanish MOT with the mods... taking it is not an option.
I could sell it, however I will only want to buy it back in a years time.
I could keep it, however a year mothballed in my garage might not do it any good at all. Even if it is started a couple of times a month.
Suggestions or words of wisdom would be much appreciated!

I dont think it would come to any harm if it's left on stands rather than the tyres. Maybe remove the battery. I wouldn't bother starting it, probably do it more harm than good unless someone takes it for a good ragging, erm I mean a nice drive for you

I would drive it there to help speed up the learning of driving on the wrong side of the road....
I would either mothball it for the full 12months or for the 6 months, But im sure driving it out of spain and into france or such like would cover you if only for a weekend and eurowide insurance is available via just the VIN from at least one insurance company i know of...
